This album debuted in 1978 and mostly consisted of cover songs. I was mostly drawn to the idea of doing a shoot with skates more than anything. When I am choosing the covers I am looking for the cover that provides inspiration immediately. The covers that get my creativity flowing are the ones that give me a lot of space to challenge myself technically and artistically.
I enlisted the help of an incredibly talented woman named Sarah, whom also owns her own clothing brand. Her company is called Rad Gal and her designs are dope. I took the line ‘She belongs to no one,’ from one of her shirts shown in the last photo and used it to make graffiti in some of the outdoor images.
