Oh this month was a blast. It was honestly one of the easiest of the album covers so far. Fortunately, I didn’t have to source any clothing. I had everything we needed outside of the boas for that classic Janis Joplin hair. I also made adjustments to the velvet Free People pants I owned by adding in the gold lace to the bottom cuffs. It was quite the challenge, but well worth it to mimic those amazing pants Janis wore. Megan was brilliant and brought Janis’ happy free spirit to set.
